The account of the film rotates around the idea of Ifrit, the child of Satan and Oladhchakra, an otherworldly religion in Bangladesh expecting to spread and advance the bloodline of Ifrit. They burned the ladies impregnated by Ifrit with the image of an embryo on their skin. Rukhsana (Anushka Sharma), is the little girl of a lady who was a casualty of a sex custom by Oladhchakra. She fears incense sticks and religious songs and petitions, and conceals her head in a pail of water to remove the Azaan playing in a close-by mosque. Teacher Quasem Ali (Rajat Kapoor) used to head a gathering of vigilantes which searched out ladies impregnated by Ifrit, and slaughtered their children by hacking off their heads. This drew a ton of fire from villagers and the gathering was eventually closed down because of its radical approach.
